Fellow Rotarians

As I reflect on the past year of 2017 -2018, my best memory is the opportunity I have had to work and play with each one of you!!

It has been humbling to work alongside such devoted volunteers whose main focus is enhancing lives in their communities and the entire world, each one of you Making a Significant Difference for so many.

I am excited that  many Rotarians have volunteered in the past two years to create such dynamic committees with each one reflecting our International composition.

I am grateful to the Assistant Governor Team who are truly the " Glue" of our District.

Your Leadership is effective due to the connection to each Club and your willingness to devote your time to educate yourselves with each new program that seems constant from Rotary International.

I am pleased that you embraced and co-ordinate your own training as a group .

The Governor Line is only effective because of your Committment and dedication.

The meetings with Past District Governor's was extremely valuable.

To those that mentored me Thank you !! I have learned from each of you and am humbled now to be part of the legacy each of you has had a hand in creating in District 7810.

Special appreciation to all Committee Chairs who in 2018 took the time to establish defined committees with Mandates and Terms of Reference, and monthly on line meeting with committee members as well as Club committees. These efforts truly have had an amazing impact on productivity for each  RI area of focus. Kudos on a job well done.

To each of the Presidents, your Amazing Leadership in all corners of our District has created a new energy that is contagious.

Thank you to the Board of Directors: Treasurer Bruce Wood and Secretary Andre Welland  for taking a fourth year of volunteer responsibility. PDG Ginny Joles for her patience and understanding and always reminding me that I was not alone.

Terry Mac Donald for his huge role who should be called our Rotary GURU.

It has been an honor and humbling to be the first DG from the Rotary Club of Chatham. Thank you Leon Bremner for the nomination and my Club for supporting me every step of this extraordinary journey.

Thank you to all who made so many firsts become a reality!
