Please join me in thanking Michael Walsh and his wife Francine Fournier-Walsh, members of the Rotary club of Moncton West and Riverview, for their Service Above Self.  The District was in great hands with Michael (Mike) at the helm and he will be continuing on in his Service as District Membership chair.  As everyone who has spoken with Mike this past Rotary year knows Mike has always aspired to become a Past District Governor (PDG)
What can I say. What a great year we experienced with all the great members of our District. We are large in territory, but very close in our goal to improve the world around us.
It seems like just yesterday we walked into our first meeting, with the Presque Isle Rotary club. Their reception was nothing short of spectacular. That set us off on our year long journey to “Light up Rotary”
Every club we visited had it's own personality, from smaller clubs to the larger ones. And so!!! many “GREAT” projects.
We grew our membership in our District.  3 Satellite clubs in Presque Isle, Greater Moncton and Hanwell were founded during the year. I firmly believe our upward trend will only accelerate in the coming years.
After 73 meetings and banquets, all good things come to an end.
Francine and I sincerely thank all Rotarians from all around the District for giving us a most enjoyable year.
We are very grateful for your hospitality and fellowship
We truly enjoyed our goal to try to Light up Rotary
Each club in our district is truly “A Gift to the World”
Yours in Rotary
