All District in person events through to June 30 are now postponed or cancelled.
On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Leadership Team of District 7810, we hope everyone is safe and well.
Needless to say, what is happening here, as well as globally, is unprecedented.
As a District, we wish to let everyone know that effective immediately, all District in person events through to June 30 are now postponed or cancelled.
Such events include and not limited to;
Training - RLI, District Leadership, PETS/SETS, Treasurers, Foundation, Public Image, etc.
Youth - RYLA/Interact, Youth Exchange Outbound orientation
Special Events - Centennial 100,
All in person District committee meetings
Please know, as we prepare for the upcoming Rotary year, we as a District will continue training digitally on line.
We are in the planning stages for having an on line version of PETS, Presidents training and along with some others.
As of now, the date of this training will be the same, this coming April 18th.
Yes, it will look, feel and be different, but we are willing to try something new. (Remember #thinkdifferent7810)
You will see and hear more from District Training as soon as possible on this event.
We are asking all Rotary and Rotaract clubs to follow suit.
Most, if not all, have already stopped meeting in person.
Please seriously consider postponing or cancelling any and all in person club meetings, committee meetings and in person community events.
This can be a time for true leadership. Social Distancing does not mean we have to become isolated.
Be creative! Use various social media's like facetime, skype, zoom, GoTo meeting, chat rooms, discussion groups, etc.
As a District, we have access to  GoTo Meeting. Have a virtual club meeting or committee meeting. District leadership uses this regularly to stay connected and stay in touch with each other.
If you wish to co-ordinate an on line meeting, let Terry MacDonald know and he can help coordinate for you.
